I co-taught the core applied regression course for first-year PhD students with my advisor, Dr. Greg Duncan in the Winter quarter of 2021, as “Education 265: Applied Regression Analysis of Education and Social Scientific Research”. It is the second course of the two-part methods sequence for Ph.D. students at UCI School of Education. We covered topics including extensions to the OLS regression model, logistic regression models, causal inference and natural experiments, and longitudinal data analysis.

I was responsible for designing and running weekly labs that accompanied and supplemented the lectures. I held virtual weekly office hours which were highly utilized. My teaching evaluation is here.

As everything was recorded during the pandemic, we decided to make the course available to anyone who was interested. You can get the full course materials by clicking the button below, which is a PDF syllabus with links to all the videos and course files. An ordered playlist of all the lecture and lab videos are also below. Identical materials are also available on Greg’s website.
